If you’re like most parents, you both love and dread Spring Break. It is a great opportunity to spend time with your family, and enjoy the changing weather and longer days. 3. Giants Head Mountain - Go for a hike and enjoy the beautiful views of Summerland. The trailhead is off of Milne Rd.

4. Parrot Island Exotic Bird Sanctuary, Peachland. A sactuary for exotic birds. Websit: http://www.parrotisland.net/

5. Summerland Sweets - Go for ice cream (they’re Huge!!) and walk the Kettle Valley train trestle and enjoy the gorgeous view. Website: http://summerlandsweets.com/

6. Bike, ride or walk the river channel pathway in Penticton.
