Training. We train for just about every thing that’s important in our lives: sports, careers, even hobbies— but what about training for godliness? In this practical and inspiring message from our Lifeguard summer series, Pastor Jeremy challenges us with the words of Paul in 1 Timothy 4:7–12: “Train yourself to be godly.” Spiritual training, we’ll see, takes so many of the same attributes as strength training - intention, effort, and consistency, but don’t get discouraged at the thought of it, keep in mind what you’re training for and it will all be worth it!
