Did you hear the announcement?

Currently, Bethel Church is in a season of revitalization and growth. Over the past three years, we have been intentional about casting a refreshed vision, and implementing new ministry strategies that will help us reach a new generation of people and grow our church. This effort, empowered by the Holy Spirit, has been bearing fruit. We have seen significant growth among all ages, and we believe it's just the beginning.

Church growth experts talk about three spaces in a church that fill up: The auditorium, kids ministry space and parking lot. Additionally, the general rule of thumb, is that if a space is 80% full, it is full. When a newcomer arrives to an 80% full auditorium, they feel like there is no room for them. They are uncomfortable sitting too close to strangers.

Our auditorium is now over the 80% level. The parking team reported that our parking lot is regularly 110% full. Our kids ministry classes are overflowing as well. It's time to make room!

The next step for our church is to move to multiple Sunday morning services. Starting Sunday, October 21, 2018, we will host duplicate morning services at 9am & 11am. Each service will have the same music, sermon and kids ministry opportunities.

We are asking that you join us in prayer, as we continue to seek God in this season of growth. We also ask that you consider your part in this. We need all hands on deck. There are going to be lots of new opportunities to serve and help out as we make this transition.

It's an exciting season. Even though change can be hard, we believe that moving forward in this way will make space for God to do even more good work among us. The best is still yet to come!
